Which players deserve your waiver wire claim this week?

Another week, another waiver wire. After two weeks of action, here are the best players to give your team a boost.

Calvin Ridley, WR — Atlanta

Owned in 38.2% of leagues

Ridley scored his first NFL touchdown in Week 2 and things are only looking up for him. The speedy WR saw twice as many targets in his second game as he did in his first and turned those targets into four receptions for 64 yards. Ridley will only see more targets as the year goes on, so grab him now while you can.

Eric Ebron, TE — Indianapolis

Owned in 38.0% of leagues

As a Lions fan, it pains me to say this, but Ebron seems to be the Colts’ go-to guy in the red zone, scoring a touchdown in each of his first two games. His hands are still1 an issue, but he has proven to be a serviceable TE this season so far.

Dan Bailey, K — Minnesota

Owned in 26.2% of leagues

Everyone’s second favorite why-the-hell-are-they-still-available free agent, the former Cowboys kicker was nabbed after a disastrous Sunday for NFL kickers and is already a hot commodity in fantasy. He’s the second most accurate kicker in NFL history and will have plenty of opportunities to score with the Vikings as Minnesota has proven they can move the ball.

Mitchell Trubisky, QB — Chicago

Owned in 23.6% of leagues

If you’re in the market for a quarterback that will likely get the job done, but won’t do anything spectacular, well, we’ve got just the guy. Trubisky’s put up pretty average numbers so far this year but he’s currently averaging 19 fantasy points per game and is facing a crumbling Arizona defense this week. So, if you decided to go way off the board in your draft and now find yourself in need of QB depth, look to Trubisky to fill out your roster.

  1. And always will be.
